Most new brands do not fail because the designs are bad. They fail because they spend their whole budget on one large order before they know what sells. A low minimum order quantity (MOQ) lets you test, learn and reorder.
1. Decide what you are selling first
Pick one or two hero products, such as a heavyweight hoodie and a matching jogger, rather than a full collection. A focused launch is easier to photograph, market and restock.
2. Work out a realistic budget
Your budget covers more than production. Plan for:
- Samples and revisions (usually one to two rounds)
- Bulk production at your MOQ
- Shipping, duties and import tax
- Photography, packaging and your website
At Canzon Sport the MOQ is 25 pieces per design, and sizes can be mixed inside that number.
3. Prepare a simple tech pack
A tech pack tells the factory exactly what to make: sketches, measurements, fabric, colours, trims and print placements. It does not need to be fancy. Read our tech pack guide for a checklist.
4. Always approve a sample
Never skip the sample. Check fit on a real person, wash it once, and compare the colour in daylight. Ask for changes now, because changes after bulk production starts cost much more.
5. Plan your reorder before you launch
If the first 25 hoodies sell out in a week, how fast can you restock? Agree reorder lead times with your manufacturer up front so a sell-out becomes growth instead of a gap.
